Redemption is a new church plant that is passionate about gathering for worship, growing in the Word, and sharing the message of redemption through Jesus. We are made up of young and old, married and singles, military and civilians. Even though we are just getting started, we believe that God will work through us and wants the people of Watertown to hear his message of redemption. We are excited to be a part of this community and to share God’s love with it.
A Place That Rejoices
We want Redemption to be a place where people come to rejoice. There are just some days in life when it is hard to rejoice. But each week we will come here and rejoice in all the blessings our God has given us.
A Place That Renews
We want Redemption to be a place where people come to renew. God has given us his Word and it is powerful to change us, to encourage us, to strengthen our relationship with our God. His Word gives us new hope, new faith, new life.
A Place That Relates
We want Redemption to be a place where people leave and relate to other people. We want to break down relationship silos and to offer the people in our lives the same hope and faith and life that we have been given by God. After all God’s grace isn’t just for those at Redemption but for everyone everywhere.
Our church is part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. That means we are a part of the third largest Lutheran church body in the United States. We are a group of 1300 congregations and about 390,000 people. This group of churches allows us to do things together that we can’t do on our own like train future pastors and teachers and do mission work anywhere from Watertown, NY to Lilongwe, Malawi.
